Jeff Hastings
Pastor
Jeff Hastings was saved in 2000 at age 27 and soon called to preach. After training at Calvary Baptist Bible Institute, he returned to Columbia, MO, in 2004 to plant Bible Baptist Church, officially established in 2010.
God has blessed the faithfulness of the preaching and teaching of the Word of God with a wonderful loving church family and missionaries supported around the world.
Pastor Hastings married Kristina, his high-school sweetheart, in 1996. She passed away in 2019, leaving a legacy of faith. They have six children, with his older daughters married and serving the Lord, and his younger children helping in ministry. He is a proud grandfather of eight.
In 2024, God brought Allison into his life, and they married in June. Pastor Hastings credits God’s grace for all that has been accomplished and affirms the enduring effectiveness of biblical church planting.

Carson brown
Assistant Pastor
Carson was born and raised in northeastern Oklahoma. He was saved in 2010 and answered God's call to preach in 2015. Since then, he has been training both academically and practically through the church, being equipped for Pastoral Ministry.
He and Kaitlyn were married in 2018, and together they have been blessed with four children. Their family has been members at Bible Baptist for the past eight years, and in January 2025, Carson stepped into the role of Assistant Pastor.
Together they serve in multiple ministries, including Preaching, Music, Digital Outreach, and the College and Career Group. They are passionate about reaching others in their community with the Gospel, and cultivating spiritual growth within the congregation.

Eli burkholder
Deacon
Eli and Lori have been members of Bible Baptist since 2011. Over the years they have served faithfully in Teaching, Children's Ministries, Outreach Coordination, Hospitality, and Safety.
Eli was called to preach in 2014 and is currently training for Pastoral Ministry. He became a Deacon in January 2026.

luke Orwig
Deacon
Luke and Mykaela have been members at Bible Baptist for the past 18 years. In that time, they have faithfully served in Music Ministry, Teaching, Sound Coordination, Outreach, and Facilities Work.
Luke was called to preach in 2009 and has since completed his Pastoral Ministry training. He became a Deacon in 2022.

Matthew Shaw
Deacon
Matthew and Bethany Shaw have been members at Bible Baptist for the past 14 years. Over that time they have faithfully served in Hospitality, Teaching, Facilities Maintenance, Sound Coordination, and Administrative roles.
Matthew was called to preach in 2019 and is in the process of completing his Pastoral Ministry training. He became a Deacon in January 2026.
